The Golf Club Championship for the Woodcreek Men’s Golf Association was held September 18 and 19, 2021 at the Quicksand Golf course. Twenty-four golfers gathered for the two-day event. There were three flights. One for club championship and two for the senior championship.
The Club Championship played from the blue tees while the senior played from the white tees. Prize money was awarded to low gross for the Club Champion and to the Senior Champion. The winners of these two categories were Trent Adare, Club Championship and Roger Jones, Senior Champion. Both gentlemen were champions for the second time in row. Over the two days Trent shot 72 and 73 for a total of 145. Roger shot 74 and 81 for a total of 155. Congratulations to these gentlemen who displayed great skill.
Golfers could not win more than one prize and flight prizes were awarded for low gross and low net for each flight. Those winners were as follows:

Low Net Score: Charlie Baker with handicapped net scores 72 + 80 = 152
The weekend was filled with fun and fellowship and was great promotion for the Quicksand Golf Course which means a great deal to our community and to the sport of golf.
